Request Account or Data Deletion
MediMic.Ai lets you request deletion of your account and associated personal data, or request deletion of selected data without closing your account.
Make a request
- Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your MediMic.Ai account.
- Use the subject line MediMic data deletion request.
- State whether you want to delete your account and associated data or only specific data, and identify the relevant account or organization.
We verify the requester before acting. If you cannot email us from the account address, tell us that in the request and we will provide a secure verification method. Organization administrators may submit requests for their organization. Patients should generally direct PHI requests to their healthcare provider.
What we delete
For a verified account-deletion request, MediMic.Ai removes the account profile and contact details, authorized device links, and associated service records that are not subject to a legal, security, billing, clinical, or contractual retention requirement. This includes encrypted session records associated with the account where applicable.
What we may retain
Some data must be retained for limited periods: application logs may be retained for up to 90 days; account-deletion processing records and residual account data for up to 90 days; audit records for up to 6 years; and payment records for up to 7 years. We retain only what is necessary for those purposes. Healthcare organizations' PHI and retention obligations may be governed by their Business Associate Agreement and applicable law.
Delete selected data without deleting your account
You may use the same request process to ask us to delete selected personal data, such as a linked device, profile/contact data, or eligible session records, while keeping your account. Tell us what you want removed. We will confirm the outcome or explain any data we are required to retain.
