Provider Portal Guide

The Provider Portal at portal.medimic.ai is the web-based hub for healthcare providers. It lets you review session history, manage your account and organization, view devices, and access audit logs — all from a browser without opening the mobile app.


Signing In

  1. Go to portal.medimic.ai.
  2. Enter your email and password.
  3. Click Sign In.

Your session is maintained via a secure HttpOnly cookie. You will remain signed in on trusted browsers until you explicitly sign out or the session expires.

Forgot Password

Click Forgot Password on the sign-in screen. Enter your email and you'll receive a reset link valid for 1 hour.


Dashboard Overview

After signing in, the Dashboard shows a summary of recent activity:

Section Description
Recent Sessions The last 5–10 sessions with status and date
Active Devices Devices currently registered to your account
Usage Summary Sessions used this billing period
Quick Actions Start a session via web, invite a colleague

Session History

Click Sessions in the left navigation to see all sessions associated with your account.

Filters

  • Date range — filter by day, week, month, or custom range
  • Mode — Shared Device, Two-Device
  • Status — Active, Ended, Expired

Session Detail

Click any session to open its detail view:

Field Description
Session Name The name you gave the session
Session Code 6-character join code
Date & Time Start time (UTC and local)
Duration Total session length
Mode Shared Device or Two-Device
Participants Names and roles of all participants
Transcript Encrypted transcript (viewable on originating device)

Transcript Encryption Note: Transcripts are stored with end-to-end encryption. The portal can display the transcript only when the session key is present on the device used to create the session. If you are viewing from a different browser or device, the transcript will display as "[Encrypted — key not available on this device]."


Account Settings

Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner → Account Settings.

Profile

  • Display Name — shown to patients during sessions
  • Email — your login email (change requires re-verification)
  • Password — change at any time

Notifications

  • Email notifications for new sessions, session summaries, and security alerts
  • In-app push notification settings (managed from the mobile app)

Connected Devices

A list of all devices that have authenticated with your account. You can:

  • View device model, OS, and last-seen date
  • Revoke a device's access (e.g., if a device is lost or stolen)

Organization

If you belong to an Organization, the Organization tab shows:

  • Org name, plan, and billing period
  • Member list with roles
  • Org-level settings (configured by Organization Admin)

Billing & Plan

Click Billing to view:

  • Current plan (Free Trial / Individual / Team / Enterprise)
  • Sessions used this period
  • Next renewal date
  • Payment method
  • Invoice history

To upgrade, click Upgrade Plan and choose a tier. Changes take effect immediately.

Signing Out

Click your name → Sign Out. This clears the session cookie from the current browser. Other signed-in browsers remain active until they time out or are explicitly signed out.

To sign out of all devices, click Sign Out Everywhere from Account Settings → Security.


Two-Factor Authentication

(Coming soon) MediMic will support TOTP-based 2FA for added account security. Check the portal for availability.
